Dr. Juee Phalak has been selected for the 2025 John M. Anderson Excellence in the field of Mental Health Award. Presented by the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund, the award honors mental health care professionals who have made significant contributions in the field. Dr. Phalak serves as the Director of Behavioral Health. 

Affinia Healthcare Vice President Yvonne M. Buhlinger nominated Dr. Phalak for the honor, stating: 

“Dr. Phalak’s passion for interdisciplinary, culturally responsive and collaborative care for the behavioral health needs of children, as well as integration of behavioral health with other healthcare disciplines, removes barriers including access to care, stigma, duplication of services, and financial burdens to patients. Her work is compassionate, responsive to community and individual needs, effective and sustainable.”
