The Affinia Healthcare location in Pagedale has received national recognition for its commitment to patient care.  

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has recognized the Pagedale location of Affinia Healthcare as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. This health center, located at 6763 Page Avenue in St. Louis County, is Affinia Healthcare’s newest location, having opened in 2017.  

“The staff at our Pagedale health center have done a fantastic job ensuring residents in this community are receiving the best care available, duplicating the great work of our staff at other Affinia Healthcare centers and school-based locations,” said Sonia Deal, Vice President of Community Health and Engagement. “We were excited to expand into the North County area and looking forward to growing our presence in this community.”  

Practices that become recognized under Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition have demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and clinical quality through: streamlined referral processes and care coordination with referring clinicians, timely patient and caregiver-focused care management and continuous clinical quality improvement.   

Earning NCQA Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition shows consumers, private payers and government agencies that the practice has undergone a rigorous review of its capabilities and is committed to sharing information and coordinating care. Recognition also signals to primary care practices that the specialty practice is ready to be an effective partner in caring for patients.

O’Kane. “I commend the team at Affinia Healthcare for its achievement, and for its commitment to continuous improvement.” 

Affinia Healthcare has also earned this recognition for its four other locations in North and South St. Louis. Affinia Healthcare is scheduled to open a new location in Ferguson, Mo., in fall 2023.
