Affinia Healthcare Receives Quality Improvement Award in 2021
On August 25th, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), announced over $117 million in quality improvement awards to 1,318 community health centers across the U.S.
Quoting HHS Secretary Alex Azar, “These quality improvement awards support health centers across the country in delivering care to nearly 30 million people, providing a convenient source of quality care that has grown even more important during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

We are excited to have received $99,011 through this award, and to be ranked among the highest performers in our region and the state.”

In addition to primary health care services, Affinia Healthcare has been on the front lines of the COVID-19 public health emergency, providing over 12,700 COVID-19 tests in the St. Louis region, accounting for approximately 20% of all tests provided to date by community health centers in Missouri.
