Dr. Melissa Tepe, MD, MPH is Affinia Healthcare's chief medical officer. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Yale University; Master of Public Health from Columbia University; and Medical Doctorate from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency at Washington University/Barnes Jewish hospital. Dr. Tepe is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist.

Originally from Colombia, South America, Dr. Mejia earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University in North Carolina. She received her doctorate in medicine from Washington University in St. Louis, where she also completed her OB/GYN residency training. Dr. Meija is also fluent in Spanish.

Dr. David Miller

Urgent Care/Family Medicine

Dr. David A. Miller, MD, MHA, FAAFP, is the clinical director of Affinia Healthcare’s Urgent Care and has practiced medicine in the St. Louis area for almost 25 years. He received a BA in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, an MD from the University of Missouri–Columbia, and completed a Family Medicine residency at the former St. John's Mercy Medical Center (now Mercy). He is additionally certified in urgent care management from the Urgent Care Association of America and completed his Masters in Health Administration from Webster University. A nationally recognized and award-winning author and photographer, Dr. Miller is active in emergency management and disaster relief at all levels of response and was a volunteer physician at Volunteers in Medicine–West County clinic. He is a former president of the St. Louis Academy of Family Physicians as well as the Family Health Foundation of Missouri, and served on the board of directors of the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians for many years.

Dr. Patrick Battaglia

Chiropractic

Dr. Patrick J. Battaglia is a clinician within Logan’s Integrative Heath Centers and assistant professor of radiology in the Doctor of Chiropractic program. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in 2012, and subsequently completed a 3-year residency in diagnostic imaging, becoming board certified in chiropractic radiology in 2016. He has also completed a 1-year fellowship in diagnostic imaging, with emphasis on ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Battaglia’s clinical interests include assimilating chiropractic care into traditional multidisciplinary medical settings, and implementing diagnostic ultrasound into routine musculoskeletal practice. His research interests include studying the sonoanatomy of various musculoskeletal structures, especially important structures of the arch of the foot in people with flatfoot deformity.
