Outpatient Treatment Options Now Available

Treatment of COVID-19 continues to evolve. Treatments are now available for early COVID that may reduce the risk of complications and even death. If you have coronavirus infection/COVID-19 illness, Affinia Healthcare wants to help. Call us at 314-814-8700 as soon as possible to be connected with a clinician for possible early treatment that may prevent severe illness. Medicaid, Gateway to Better Health coverage, Medicare, and most commercial insurance plans are accepted. Sliding fees are offered for uninsured persons who qualify.

Oral Antiviral Therapy

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please ask your medical provider if you are a good candidate for oral therapies such as Paxlovid (oral) or molnupiravir (oral). These treatments are prescribed for patients who have mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 and an elevated risk of complications. Data from clinical trials showed that high-risk patients treated with these therapies had up to 88 percent reduction in relative risk of progression to severe disease or hospitalization compared to patients who did not receive these therapies. Please discuss with your provider to find out if you are eligible.
